I bet tucker and Carlyle make more combined in NIL than possibly all of northwestern and they barely play. Woodson overpayed for basically everyone

I just want to make sure that the crazy pills I took earlier aren’t wearing off. I know this runs counter to the narrative that Kathy is feeding but, we did actually fire Kelvin Sampson mid-season because he didn’t do the things he said he was going to do, right? Why would anyone question whether we should fire Golfy McWineslurp and his merry band of idiots that can’t land recruits? Show and prove or FAFO.

I wonder what Woodson was thinking when the NW fans were doing a sarcastic cheer for him. I wonder if he really feels like  NW wants him. Not only that he got “outside noise tonight.” If IU beats Maryland I wonder if he’ll stick out his chest again…

What a night, I’ve been busy with my own basketball stuff. Great WIN for the tank train tonight folks! We are back to normal speeds with our destination getting clearer by the day!

I believe he is differently one of the top coaches in the BIG. Please don’t bring up his overall record. His players always play hard and stay in games with far less talent. Would love to see him at IU. 

I agree. If he was at a school that didn't have strict admission criteria and more NIL, I think he woukd have a much better record

I understand the poster's point of view.  

Personally, I can never ever celebrate Indiana loosing.   But I support getting rid of the current coaches.

 I just cannot fathom bad defense in the conference games.  I just cannot fathom lack of movement being allowed on offense.  I just cannot abide with a coach that doesn't maximize matchups.

I believe, whether IU wins or loses, gets in a post-season NCAAT or not, Coach Woody is gone.

Have the prospective HC in the wings.

Just lose the head coach.  Renegotiate his exit payout.  Sign it.  Bye.

Welcome to the new HC.  Celebrate that.

Yea, there are some differing views on what it will take for IUBB to get rid of the current coaches.  I'm so focused on getting Woody out I'd rather endure some sort term losses to guarantee it, but I get fans that prefer cheering for IU.

Regardless, I am optimistic Scott can get this next hire right, and also get our org chart fixed with the new coach reporting to Scott and Pam with the donors/trustees staying more in the background like they should.  Basically, the Cignetti model, aka Organization Management 101.  Cig constantly mentions two people -- Pam and Scott.  It's beautiful.

Hopefully next season the whole fanbase can just focus on the basketball again.

What's depressing is I've heard from some AAU/high school coaches that the assistants actually bust their butts recruiting and do a pretty good job. However, the head coach and recruitment closer is very bad and wastes a lot of their hard work.
