Ryno6284 Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Many were pissed at Dolson last year for not pulling the plug...me thinks he is the one playing chess while the others pissing money away are playing checkers!
Popular Post WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 29, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 29, 2024 Really a shame because I’d love to see what this roster looks like under different leadership. watching Purdue be consistently good to great no matter who is on the roster is getting old. AZ Hoosier Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 He just has to sack up and do it. I don’t think he needs Quinn’s approval does he? Quinn is on his way out anyway so pissing him off has little to no consequencesBut it would give us true fans immense satisfaction for Dolson to spike Woodson in Buckner’s haughty mug. MikeRoberts and Muskie plays the four 2
Herotime Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Do you suppose Dolson would let Woody go in conjunction with our football playoff position being solidified to focus on that positive or as far from that as possible so as to not distract? Banksyrules, cybergates and TadQueasy 2 1

I think he would not do it at the same time to keep all the focus on football. I just don’t see any way Woody isn’t the coach all season.

Like last year IU brings a knife to a gunfight. The offensive and defensive philosophy that the staff continues to run with just isn’t a good fit in 2024-25. Lucky for them they will get away with it in the B1G for the most part. If they were in the SEC they would have 0 chance with the way they play. Pretty sure I saw they are in the 340s in attempted 3s a game. Too many holes schematically on both sides of the ball to be a serious title contender. Moser a college basketball lifer got a lot flack the last couple years for his start at Oklahoma but the guy can coach and that’s a nice feather in the cap to win Atlantis HoosierTrav, HoosierHoopster, JerryYeagley23 and 7 others 9 1

IUFAN1976 Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Hey at least IU and Woodson didn’t pull the same thing as UConn and Hurley! See there is a silver lining!
coonhounds Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Hey at least IU and Woodson didn’t pull the same thing as UConn and Hurley! See there is a silver lining! They lost two very close games and then lost the third game yes. We're not the same. We have the same problems for 4 years. I fear if we played uconn this weekend we lose by 20 plus. I bet on them first 2 games and watched the games we aren't at that level. We won today and that is better than losing. We had good offense today but defense sucked. We are in trouble. Don't watch any other good teams if you want to feel good about iuSent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk Hoosier DaDa, tkbbn, Muskie plays the four and 1 other 4

It certainly would be warranted... but the buyout drops by half in March... and it would steal focus from the football program... though Woodson finding a way to pee in Cignetti's corn flakes, even by being fired, would be completely in character.

Nope—buyout is full until 2026. He’s getting a mil a year unless he somehow retires and takes less. Part of his year extension last year. 8.4mil until basically Q2 2026.
