The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

I spent a ton of time, more than I should have, at the golf course this past summer. I saw Woody there often, more than I should have. We had a term in the military for those who were close to getting out but still "working" called ROAD - Retired on Active Duty. Woody has been ROAD the entire time he's been the coach at IU. If someone is still going to pay you for not putting in the effort why change? Stoked to see Woody on the course again next summer to play a few holes with. The only thing worse than Woody's course management is his coaching. Woody is not ignorant to his ability to get this team "over the hump" but why change your lifestyle when you continue to get paid and have your "buddies" stick up for you?

If a few comments on Senior Night last year were a problem for you, I’d suggest that you grow a pair. Pretty sure you weren’t personally affected by anything that was said.

Please spell it out for me.  I see nothing between Crean's ears or his conditioning comment.

To me, it is all about the players not performing...and it is not conditioning.  It seems mental.  Or the lack of execution.  But more probably, it is the lack of the coaches in preparing and motivating and putting the team in position to win.

What do you think that Crean means?  He tries to sell that he knows more than he does.  Actually, never mind.  I do not give a small f... what Crean thinks or says about Indiana or almost any other subject.

So if Woodson shocks the world and upsets Davidson with his team of high priced transfers will the sunshine pumpers be back pounding their chests?

What, wasn't there some of the other kids, what'd we give 'em? What? Cars? Tractors? Gave a kid a TRACTOR? Another kid we gave a HOUSE. Didn't we give him a house? You know, BAGS OF CASH, I don't know what we gave these kids...You know, they asked for things, we gave it to 'em. I mean, you guys asked me to win, and I gave that to you!

Except Woodson didn't give us the winning part.

I said in the South Carolina thread that we'll have a chance to see how we measure up at Atlantis.  Well here we are and it doesn't look all that good.  Looks like it's going to be a long season.

I just heard that rumor, but I didn’t believe it.  That explains why he looked a step slower and lackadaisical!  I just thought it was him coming back from his injury.  If he was playing blackjack at the AM hours, than he wasn’t the only one!   Crean’s comments were about conditioning but now we know the root cause, partying all night and not getting enough sleep!
