So is it going to be Brad or Few or someone else?  Thanks in advance I will hang up and listen.

I'd be surprised if anyone knew for sure right now.

And I'm guessing it's neither Stevens nor Few.

I have 14.5 hours to kill on this flight. What’s the good word? I never thought I’d see a thread over 2000 pages. You guys okay?

We're getting there... may take another month or so, but we'll get there eventually.

My boss just asked me to work on a project. I said one it's Friday, two it's coaches search season so I'm out.

Your X's and O's are impeccable. You should get into coaching.

A couple of national writers, guys that have a good relationship with Scott Drew, have previously posted that IU pursue him. Trevor Andershock, who I think does an outstanding job and is generally quite measured and not prone to exaggerate or lead people on posted that it is believed Scott Drew holds the IU job in higher acclaim that Kentucky or Louisville and has genuine interest. If that is the case, he immediately vaults to the number two spot on my list, directly behind Brad Stevens. He has been consistently very good to excellent at Baylor. Thoughts on Drew?

Haven’t seen anyone call him a POS here. I’m not saying this in an argumentative way but I think it’s important to get something clear: people don’t have this vitriol because Mike Woodson is bad at his job. They have this contempt for him because it’s become apparent over the past 4 years that he does not respect the job, just wanted the title, and was enabled to obtain it by his good friend and the chair of the IU BOT. Basketball is a main driver for the frustration, yes, and then it’s multiplied by societal factors like perceived corruption, race, and the corresponding legal or political implications / associations of those factors. We live in a very charged time, and the internet is like steroids for that. Yes some people go way too far, particularly on social media, and that’s not acceptable EX: don’t contact someone you don’t know especially if you’re just being negative in any way. Anyone making any kind of threat on Woodson or Quinn’s life - credible or not - should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. However, calling them scumbags on a message board (which is basically just a group chat of the same ~100 guys aged 30-100 lol) or suggesting that an investigative journalist may be able to find a story based on their actions while in highly visible, public roles… is not indicative of the fanbase being toxic. It’s sharing observations and opinions.

The same person who said there should be a special place in hell for certain members of Woodson's inner circle also called him a POS.

It's easy to hide anonymously behind some user name on a message board and say things you would never say to someone face to face. In my opinion, shows the true character, or lack thereof, of the person making those comments. Much more than of the person the comments are directed towards. The other things you mention are all opinion or conjecture.

Criticize away at the job performance. I agree that he needs to go based on that.

You didn't ask me but I am on a rampage today beating the dead horse about Quinn.

The way this is going down, I wouldn't be surprised if regardless of when Woody exits, Quinn has drawn enough blood to prevent Dolson from going after his top option(s). The fact QB will still be on Chair of the BOT when the search is conducted, regardless of his term being up in the summer, is a huge concern even if he does end up leaving when the term is up. The messiness we're seeing over the last 48 hours or so is him forcefully reminding Dolson of that... IMO.

Sounds like someone cares!  Do you have any straight jackets?  We may need some by the end of the day!

If Stevens, May, Few say no I'm fine with him
