Or maybe Dolson pulls out the former player card again and Isiah Thomas becomes the new men’s basketball coach!

Do not even joke about that.

I hope this experiment taught us to never ever listen to the joe hillman crowd again about getting an iu guy. That ship has sailed

I was told a few old players want Beard, but most big-time boosters want Stevens.

Coach candidates aside not arguing that, I’m so sick of old players I hope their voice is finally ignored.

Woodson is so arrogant that I’m sure he will announce that he’s going to meet with the students at Dunn Meadow. He thinks he will get the support that coach Knight did..lol

One kid with pink hair will say "who the f*** are you?"

If this story is true, then Woodson would be going out exactly the way that I would've expected.

A perfect ending to his coaching tenure.

Almost like it wasn't really about what was good for the program.

Mmmm Woodford!  I might be able to talk my Dad into opening some Pappy today if this goes down!  If not, I’m going Blanton’s or EHT

Yeah I know he will get at least a good portion of the money.  But if he came in today and said, F off, I quit, he likely cost himself a few bucks.

His agent will just tell IU he’s not stepping down today, forcing IU to fire him, and triggering the whole buyout. His agent won’t let him actually “quit.”

If he actually uttered the words "I quit", that definitely wasn't smart on his part. Not saying he won't get the full amount remaining but he would have less leverage.

I once left a job and told one of the managing directors I was leaving for a new job in a few weeks. Two days later, they let everyone in my division go and paid everyone severances. Guess who didn't get a severance? I know the situation is totally apples to oranges but from a legal perspective, how you leave matters.

I’m guessing you didn’t have a multi-year guaranteed contract.
