I think it will most likely be Dusty but don’t count out someone higher than a mid-major.  Dolson doesn’t want another Archie Miller

Fool me 3 times because I have nothing left but hope. At this point I will believe it just to help my mental state and worry about the consequences when it's proven false lol

There wasn't a single world where it made sense to hire him, but here we are.

In my mind, the question with Stevens is how seriously he actually considered taking the job last time. I know that folks on the IU side of things believe he was very serious. But we really can't know if Brad felt the same, genuinely, or if he was just playing us. 

If he was sincere, then I think he takes the job this time given the uncertainty with the Celtics, the fact he won a title, getting to coach his son, etc.

But if his contract is expiring, then there is a very real chance he's playing us again for leverage to negotiate a better deal with Boston. I hope that's not the case, but I don't think anyone can really know what he's thinking unless they are in his inner circle.

Edit: To be clear, that in no way was intended to suggest we shouldn't speculate about Stevens anyway. So please keep the rumors coming!

I see people on a free message board talking about Stevens as a coaching possibility.  No harm in people wanting to believe something will happen.   Kind of what free message boards were made for.  Talking about possibilities

I agree!  I do think this team is one of the most talented in the B10 but they have that boat anchor dragging them down named Mike Woodson!  This team could suddenly get it together and start playing for one another instead of the selfish play we’ve seen.  If they would have decreased their turnovers by 7-8, they most likely beat Turdue.

What's wrong with some people having hope? Especially if it distracts from the fact this is the only program poorly managed enough to hire Mike Woodson.
