IUHoosier5 Posted January 18, 2025 Posted January 18, 2025 Real late night thoughts. I truly believe Woody is a good Xs and Os coach. You could see him screaming, “that wasn’t the play” on the last possession in regulation. The thing is…timing is important and he’s past his time. He doesn’t have the energy nor commitment our university’s coach has to have in order to succeed. He said all the right things when he was hired, and it’s his own fault he hasn’t met those expectations. How he handles failure leaves a lot to be desired. Woody might be great to hangout with, but he’s not an honorable man. If he was, he would be able to face the music and own up to his mistakes. That’s step one. Step two is enacting change. This merry go round will stop soon enough. But, for now, we are in purgatory. lillurk, go iu bb and HoosierMoore 3

Want no part of a dead cat bounce from an interim who then gets job full time completely screwing program as has happened to Buckeyes. Woodson needs to go but after season. An interim now could do way more damage to program long term if they do well and are kept which could absolutely happen. Want no part of Jake Diebler Ohio St situation. Then don't keep them. Popular Post 68Hoosier Posted January 18, 2025 Popular Post Posted January 18, 2025 Good morning fellow Hoosiers. So, I had high hopes that this weekend would be the start of something new, but with a 1pt OT win now I'm not so sure. It is sad that I was hoping for a loss, but I found myself not watching the game and checking the score to see if this game would help move us in the direction of a new coach. They are just not fun to watch anymore. Even when we had bad teams (first 2 or 3 years under Crean) I was still invested 100%. I have lost my interest after 44 years of being a diehard fan. Please tell me there is hope still that we take sports seriously and that we will do the right thing soon. tkbbn, Cd71, darB s'tI and 5 others 8

It was a fun game to watch but far from a good performance. The bad news is if you were reading on here yesterday I think it is probably not true we talked or offered the job to anyone as interim coach. Imo that is something you do after you have fired or retired woodson. I believe meetings have probably happened to talk about what should be done because of how dire the situation we are in. The kids gave effort made some shots and ohio state made some shots. Both teams made mistakes and in the end iu survived letting ohio state have to opportunity at a buzzer beater to win in regulation and ot after leading by 10 with 3.40 to go. We won a virtual coin flip and didn't do anything to show that is sustainable long term. If any decisions were made and they look at last night and think we're good now they are really dumb. That said I believe all eyes will be on north western game cause results matter and if we win i can then see them trying to stick with him and I believe the fans at assembly hall will be OK. I hope the administration knows though when the wheels inevitably come off and they choose that route the illinois game won't be the last ugly scene at assembly hall imo and may seem tame in comparison Sent from my SM-S926U using Tapatalk FWHoosier84, Mopladysman and Hoosier DaDa 3

I would still wait and see what happens at northwestern. Absolutely nothing happened last night that leads me to believe anything has changed performance wise. That's a completely fair assessment, I'm just hoping QB really is a lame duck at this point so Pam and Scott can do what's best for the program and get us a new HC.

coonhounds Posted January 18, 2025 Posted January 18, 2025 Let's discuss the master class the staff is doing with bako shall we? The kid came in as a freshman and had a slow start i will admit but then became a pretty good scorer and player for us last season. He started this season as our best shooter. The point is in a year in a half the staff has taken our best player and virtually made him unplayable by mid season. In s year and a half nobody can get him to play respectable defense? How often does a star player just fade away to the bench in year 2?Sent from my SM-S926U using Tapatalk thebigweave, Home Jersey, cybergates and 2 others 4 1
