Hornsby Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Watching the second half now. Stunning how fast this six million dollar team can implode. Doesn't even take a few minutes Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk
Home Jersey Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Part of me just feels so bad for Woodson, I mean, opposing teams fans chanting to keep you is very funny but has to hurt the ego. The worst part is, the fan base is so obviously over Woodson that now opposing teams fans are making a joke out of it (and it already is one). That wouldn't happen if it weren't such an obvious thing and I bet in his mind he feels betrayed in a way. That's why he's recluding and not doing his media stuff, etc. The thing is... even if the results were not good, the fans wouldn't have such "visceral" feelings if he at least made it look like he were putting in the maximum effort this entire time to win big like he said he wanted to do. But by now the story is already written. VFury, WayneFleekHoosier, OKHOOSIER and 1 other 4

Opposing fans chanting we want him. Thats the current state of Indiana Basketball. This has to end. I didn’t really care before if it happened before the season ended as long as it happened, but this can’t continue. Our program is being clowned by…. Checks Notes….the Northwestern student section. To say nothing of Assembly Hall or B1G teams with an actual hostile environment. He cannot be allowed to finish this season. ….the bolded is a slap in the face to IU BB and making a joke of this once prestigious program! Dolson has to make it stop! cybergates, Chris007 and OKHOOSIER 2 1

They come out of time outs and the vast majority of times get a terrible shot. The team is finally playing hard but look so lost on offense. I think we all have been there for awhile. I think the biggest concern is the home game vs Maryland when a FIRE MIKE WOODSON chant breaks out again!

Nightmare match up for Woody head to head. I believe he is differently one of the top coaches in the BIG. Please don’t bring up his overall record. His players always play hard and stay in games with far less talent. Would love to see him at IU. FWHoosier84, Home Jersey and Hoosier DaDa 3

hoosierbannerd Posted January 23 Posted January 23 So is it going to take getting blasted these next stretch of games thru MSU-which we know will happen- to end this facade of a coach?

HoosierFan1994 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Yes I want Woodson gone and it needs to be now..but, I am afraid that the interim coach will go on some kind of "run" and the university would hire him full time. Team has quit on Woodson. Possible, not likely, they could end up with a solid B1G record and win a few tournament games with Rosemond or Hunter. Very rarely does hiring an interim coach full time work out. Yes, Michigan in 1989. I don't think Texas and OSU are happy with their full time hires. The Las Vegas Raiders just fired their interim coach that they chose over Harbaugh.

lillurk Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Not going to argue about it but some of us were like foaming at the mouth to watch Nate Oats in a big job. Every time I try to make the case for certain mid-major coaches someone decides that guy doesn’t have the Special High Major Voodoo and tries to argue with me but if you know what you’re looking for you can have a degree of confidence that Oats and May and so on are special before they ever make $1M sirhoosierlot and woodenshoemanHoosierfan 2

Some of us were worried before Indiana State buried us under a barrage of 3s in game 1 of his tenure!

The PGA tour and NHL didn’t exist. Women couldn’t vote and Babe Ruth had never hit a home run yet and we were still 4 years away from the end of WW1. Can any of that work for “firing with cause” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk In other words, he performed a feat that hasn't been matched at IU in over 100 years. Not even Bob Knight was able to do it. We're witnessing greatness.
