I admittedly don’t know, but I thought it was # of visits per recruit not just a total number of visits combined for all recruits?  If it’s per recruit, at least my visit tonight will count against Auburn.  

Yeah and I didn't realize transfers and HS recruits were under same limits umbrella? Very well may be true, idk. But I know a guy that can probably clear it up for us@Uspshoosier

I know what the bottom line is, and I'm agreeing with it. Because of his lack of confidence he acted out in a way that made him incompatible with the job.

It’s both a staff only get a certain amount of recruiting days during the recruiting calendar and can only have a certain amount of visits per recruit in a school year

I’m convinced we are getting a new coach.

On that front it would be nice to keep Adam Howard, Walsh, and Calbert involved.

I mean, whatever the new coach wants but I’d like to keep those guys if we keep any.

That’s the dumbest thing I have ever heard.  No wonder we have one signed recruit.  Woodson and this staff suck. I just hope the young kid, Walsh, isn’t picking up bad habits.  If I’m him, I hit the transfer portal myself.

IU is horrible and ruined those coaches. At least that's what a certain poster says.

The risk is a fact but the bad move part is only your opinion stated emphatically.  This is why you're getting so many negative reactions.  Many of your posts start out with interesting discussion points but end with statements like that which negate the whole thing.
Hesitant to post all that as I'm not trying to be argumentative but would like to bridge the gap so folks can actually have some of these discussions.  As far as this topic, it's also a fact that doing nothing is a risk.  Evaluation of that risk is where it gets interesting.  You've stated that you believe Coach Woodson will be able to replenish half the roster this off season and establish a more effective playing style next season.  That sounds great!  On the other hand, we have 3 years of evidence of the same playing style, the same substitution patterns and the same struggles with rebounding, free throws and leadership.  So which is more likely to happen?

Factor in his Knicks teams having some of the same struggles and it's more than 3 years of evidence.

If he doesn’t get fired it will be another year that I don’t really watch IU basketball.  Just sick of watching trash.  I watch Purdue and other schools more nowadays and don’t make it home for IU games.  Kentucky was amazing with Shepard.  I mean so many other teams that develop kids that we don’t do at all.  Calipari taking kids that were ranked near 150 and making them starters.  Care less and less every year.  Three seasons of double digit losses and this is IU basketball at its best….Jesus Christ.  
 

I agree with you though.  First name is never really the person.  It is someone who is using it as a contract extension, etc.  I don’t buy anything until announced anymore.  Just not worth the drama.

Trilly has connections but he's been wrong before. Considering the kick to the balls the last coaching search was it could just end up with a Woodson extension.
