It's fine in Arizona (7pm start)... should also be good in Alaska (5pm start).

I hate them too but I’ll stay up and watch it because I didn’t stay up late New Years Eve.  Us old folks can’t stay up past 10 or 10:30 unless there is something more exciting to watch than a ball drop, like an IU game!
