JSHoosier Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 I've cracked the code. Mike is short for Michael. Hart sounds like heart. IUFB has the McMahon/WWE connection. The next coach is The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. LIHoosier 1 Quote

They didn't share any names but I hope they are correct. Dunno if this is what you’re hinting at, but I noticed he was left off Osterman’s list… I was told by someone I trust relatively well that Herman has spoken/met with Dolson. I don't know what they were hinting at, just told me not to believe all the names being reported. I hope it is true because Herman is my #1. His name has been mentioned, just has not been said he got an interview. FritzIam4IU and NVFalcons1990 2 Quote

From a pure X's and O's standpoint, he's the best person IU has talked too by a mile. You can count on one hand the number of guys who could have done what Fitz has done at Northwestern. And it's only getting harder for the prestigious academic schools in the NIL and portal climate. Quote

It looks like he wasn't able to keep up with the changes in college football so there's no reason to think that would change at IU. This, of course, is in addition to what got him fired from Northwestern. mamasa 1 Quote

If Allen was in the west he would probably still be the coach. thebigweave, NVFalcons1990, go iu bb and 3 others 5 1 Quote

Fitz has zero say in NU's admission requirements or their selectiveness in undergrad transfers. Put Fitz in a program without rigorous admission and academic requirements and he can be as good as anybody. He's going to coach again somewhere and be very successful. Quote

For people like myself, with really no knowledge of the candidates why Candle? I don’t want to sound argumentative but I don’t want to go down the CAM road. He has been there a lot of years and he’s still there correct? It feels like for me, and I just know what has been presented in this thread, I would prefer Herman by a wide margin followed by Chryst. cybergates 1 Quote
