Hovadipo Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Couldn't find a schedule thread for this season. Double/single plays released. Here is what we have so far, via ITH: • 2023 Empire Classic with UConn, Louisville and Texas at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 19 and Nov. 20, 2023 • vs. Kansas on Dec. 16, 2023 • Big Ten schedule Home: Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern Away: Illinois, Michigan, Rutgers Home/Away: Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin hper50 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
Stuhoo Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Our conference opponents for the 2023-2024 season have just been announced, and as expected, because of our very tough schedule last year, our schedule this year is truly magically wonderfully excellent and full of double plays against likely bottom-dwellers: Double Plays: Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, and Wisconsin In Bloomington only: Iowa, Michigan State, and Northwestern Road only: Illinois Michigan Rutgers This was reasonably expected, and is very, very nice. Stuhoo Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 By the way, our punching bag inferior cousins to the north will not have double plays against any of Nebraska, Penn State, or Minnesota. Tom White, Demo, WayneFleekHoosier and 1 other 3 1 Quote

(hint...it's because he doesn't get to stack his schedule with multiple games against Minny, PSU, and Nebraska the coming year). Xavier Johnson might bully him worse than JHS did. reconmkd Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 I will reserve my comments and opinions about next years B1G schedule until after each game has taken place. Learned my lesson this season, and will no longer take any team, regardless of the situation, for granted and will not label any match up prior. That L vs NW at home, ugh! He was basically done producing, though. JHS was terrific, no doubt, but the game turned when Trey put Smith in a vice after halftime. X and Trey together…Loyer won’t get a clean catch or handoff. Far be it from me to help PU but if Painter is going to play Loyer and Smith big minutes at guard they need JHS/Ivey/Carsten Edwards/Terrence Shannon-type production at the 3 IMO Quote

The 2 in New York will be tough. Then the big East game. That’s 4 really tough games. 1 at home, 3 “neutral” although 2 likely mostly road games. Tom White 1 Quote
