That game was the perfect example of why the big 10 hasn’t won a title in forever. Classic Tackle basketball, Horrible calls. Long reviews that totally disrupt the game. The big ten is a long way off from modern basketball.

Kansas won the title last year and had three double digit losses including an 18 point home loss.  If you measure teams by only their bad performances, everyone sucks.

Miller Kopp was 5-9 from 3 today, the rest of the team was 1-16. 57% from the line. Shooting was our biggest weakness last year and Woodson didn’t do anything to address it in the offseason. Rutgers shot 37% from the field and just beat us by 15 points.

We will be in the sense of finishing 3-5 in the big and getting a decent seed. But we’re just a better version of last year with the same flaws.

Glad we backed up our talking on the court. That always seems to work with players of that mindset. We need to play superb defense and get in transition against the better teams in the Big 1.o. We got punched in the mouth and responded like we did for most of last season. This is how the Big 1.o has been officiated for years and it's not changing anytime soon.

I’m a firm believer that a good team needs their ass kicked before they get to survive and advance season. It just happened and the response will tell us everything. (More cliche dumping) The season is young!

Yeah there was good ball movement to get the open shots tonight (outside of Race who they were leaving open). Just clanked them

Sucks taking your 1st L. Sucks more when it's your 1st conference game. Sucks more when it was on the road. Really sucks when it was against a team that steals your lunch over and over again. In the end though it's one loss. Beat Nebraska and win against AZ and this game will be forgotten for awhile.
