Even though Iowa got whistled for more fouls than IU it should have been double that. All in all, great first half. Maintain and close it out.

Serious question: have we ever led at halftime of a Big Ten semifinal?

Can't gripe about being up at the half, with XJ out for the last 7+ minutes.  

I really liked Bates' defense - he was pressuring his guy beyond the arc.  Can't give Iowa wide-open looks from out there.

Really like our 1st half defensive effort. Bring that same defensive energy and extending out and we’re in this to the end.

Bates didnt just hit a 3, his D was strong, hope he gets good minutes this half

IU outscored Iowa 16-12 the last 7:08 without Xavier. I’ll take that for sure
