I didn’t participate in the grade the season thread cause I don’t really know what that means. But I’ll say that Woody seems to say the right things, imo, with regard to what needs done. The thought of a little more off the ball motion and perimeter orientation (just taking a stab at what he means by “style “), better shooting and more athletic defenders on the wing has me excited.  If we can keep that top league defense (or close to it) and get top ~40 Kenpom offense, then we’ll compete near the top of the B1G and have a seed giving us a chance to make a run in the tourney.  
 

To that end, seems like if we’re bringing in transfers we want another stab at a 3/d type wing and a big who can rebound and help defend a little.

When is Tamar’s girlfriend due?  I think becoming a father could be a good thing for him returning or bad,  that is an unknown until it happens and sinks in.

Have you heard from good sources that they are making 75-100k a year through the NIL or is that a guess? Just curious because I read some posts that IU basketball should lead to good NIL opportunities but I have no idea if the reality is 5k or 100k per season for the top 8 or so guys.

I really have no idea. All the bball fans I know hate the guy, but maybe that IS the audience. I listened to him many years ago when I commuted in Indy and his radio show was bad but got a reaction from me. Once I figured out the schtick it was over.

Can we please LEARN from this stuff?! Prove it by your actions on the court. Don't tell me what you're going to do, show me what you've done. I love me some X and really happy with how he played for stretches of the season. He needs to take the high road and get better from this. Print the twit out and place it in your locker to fuel you everyday this off-season. When we have a culture of hard work and winning Dakich will come crawling back to be near the program.

I feel this is a lot of talking heads around sports. It makes people like LaPhonso Ellis, Bill Walton, and a few others so much more better.

I guess he still does but not sure why.  He is in attack mode 24/7.    Attack first and deal with the rest later.    I used to love listening to him on the radio but slowly after listening every day you can hear the hate in his voice.  Crazy thing to witness.  Last week I was driving somewhere during the day and someone called in and was trying to make a point but was clearly nervous and twisted some words.   Dan attacked first and belittled the guy and as it turned out he was trying to agree with what Dans point was.   He changed his tone and started being nice to the guy after that.    Attack first and deal with the rest later.    Just a terrible person in my opinion.  No need for me to listen to that kind of hate
