I bragged on the McCulley kid, I was wrong, this guy can't be our future QB, hopefully we get a good transfer this time!

Ultimately, once Penix and Tuttle were hurt, the guy that should have been under center was Dexter Williams.  And he was the third string guy in the spring when he tore his ACL.  Instead, McCulley got put in and instead of just letting him make mistakes and learn, they put training wheels on the offense and burned his redshirt season.

Am I wrong that Gremel might have the prettiest looking ball out of any of our QBs…I wouldn’t mind him starting next week at Purdue, and that is painful to write.

Coaches not having any trust in our 4 star QB of the future to throw the ball also concerns me. I understand he’s green, but they’d rather Have him run every play and risk getting hurt vs. get reps throwing…

Sheridan should be let go tomorrow. It was pathetic even before the injury train, and has spiraled into the most embarrassing football I’ve maybe ever witnessed.

Completely forgot about Dexter Williams as well.

I had the game on in the other room while renovating the bathroom.  Why was Dale Gribble playing instead of McCulley?  Did he get hurt?

We can and should fire assistants but it won’t make much of a difference. We lack the talent to compete in this league.

Correct. Remember in August when all of the IUFB beat writers were proclaiming this the most talented IUFB team they’d ever seen?  Never forget: Reporters aren’t coaches and they aren’t scouts. They don’t know what they’re watching.

So far and far away the worst team in the B1G.
Beyond frustrating—comical.
I will always have a soft spot for Tom Allen’s ability to give us interesting IU sports during the most boring, depressing year of the Archie era.

Agree. I like Allen as a guy a lot. I even think he’s an solid coach but this season he lost the team. And no depth to be competitive with no QB, no RB, bad lines, a defense the mostly quit, WR that mostly quit because no QB can utilize them. Just a debacle. Gotta find a capable QB so we can enjoy some offense at some point. Defense will try harder when offense can get first downs. What a mess.

Sad but true. Football game days are a lot of fun so I wish we had a consistently good team, but alas. I’d settle with a good basketball team, lol.

Attendance: 38,079. That has to be paid attendance, right? Any guesses as to how many were actually there?

Yeah no shot. That number is FAR closer to the Cincy attendance than today’s. I put today’s at MAYBE 5 digits. Probably upper 4s.

Need to hit the transfer portal hard. Especially at QB.

Most importantly, they need to hit transfer portal hard at OL first because it doesn't matter how good that QB is if that line can't block. Secondly, we need a good DL. Start at those 2 places and we can go from there
