100% agree with everything that was said. Fears screams michigan state to me for some reason. Just a gut thing tho.

I consider myself proficient in English and in swearing; very rudimentary in Spanish and German and I think I'll be working on Finnish next.   No idea how to gauge the level of competition but his team plays in what's called Finland's First Division.

On Oct. 8, Little's team won 89-78.  Little played 28 min. and scored 26 pts.; 13 reb and 10 asst.  He was 10-12 FG; 2-3 on 3s; 4-5 FT; 4 TO ; 1 stl.

Today, they were beaten 103-99.  Little played 34 min. and scored 27 pts; 7 reb; 6 asst.  He was 10-14 FG; 2-5 on 3s; 5-5 FT; 9 TO; 2 stls.

So he's only averaging 26.5 ppg, 10 rpg, 8 apg, and shooting about 80% fg, 60% 3pt, and 90% ft?

Is he playing the same schedule as Blackford?             ;)

That jumps out a bit. 2 to 1 ratio the wrong way.

Team fell to 1-2 in an 89-57 loss.  Little played 29 min. scoring 16 pts. on 4-11 FG; 1-5 on 3s; 7-12 FT.  He had 9 reb; 8 asst; 6 TO.  He's been a TO machine  but he's also averaging 10 reb. and 8 assts for the 3 games.

That is the $64.00 question.  He plays in what's called the Finnish second division but that doesn't really tell us anything.  We badly need a Finnish rep on btb!!  FWIW, in addition to IU, he has offers from USC, Wake Forest and Dayton.

Loss today dropped season record to 2-3.  Little played 22 min. with 10 pts. on 2-5 FG; 2-4 on 3s; 4-6 FT; 7 reb; 5 asst; 2 stls and 7 more TOs.  Off until Nov. 5.

I will never question our staff, on who they pursue, unless proven otherwise. We are blessed to have this group of great basketball minds running our program. IU basketball is back to being in the conversation.

Maybe a little positive information to take your minds off another football loss.

Pretty easy to have a relatively good idea of the caliber of competiton a recruiting target faces based on the size of his school.  Certainly far from perfect but a 1A or 2A school in Indiana is not going to consistely face the caliber of competiton a 4A school will.  Likewise for schools in other states with a similar type of classification system we can make reasonably sound assumptions.  We know kids going to the Montverde's, IMG's, La Lu's are facing high level competiton virtually every game they play.

Because we know virtually nothing about the quality of Finnish basketball, a couple of posters have raised the question about the level of Miro's competition.  So with a little luck, I've been able to contact an individual with excellent insight into Finnish basketball and this is what he shared with me.

First of all, Miro is not competing against high school kids his own age.  He is competing against men.  He plays in the Finnish second division a step below its professional league.  He's playing against men who played major college ball in the U.S. as well as men who've played pro ball.  Remember Freddie McSwain tweeted about having played against Miro.  So as I post his game stats as his season progresses, keep in mind he's not playing your typical high school basketball as we think of it.

5 games into his current season he's averaging 22 ppg on 60% FG; 41% on 3s; 9 rpg and 7.8 apg.  With those kinds of numbers, I'll overlook his TOs and would be ecstatic to see him in an IU uniform.
