Doubt it’s him but would take Chris Collins in a New York minute. Very good X’s & O’s. Understands the B1G. Kept his head above water at a brutal gig. Was the lead recruiter at Duke. Has seen the IU thing up close and would undoubtedly view this as a destination job. Young enough. I know there are folks around here who’d hate it. Don’t care, they’re wrong.

People get way too up in their feels here considering it's a message board. A place where folks come to share their thoughts and opinions. If you don't like hearing differing thoughts, opinions, strategies or whatever then maybe it's a you thing rather than an everyone else thing.

Many of us have supported the program our whole life.  We supported Davis who we knew wasn't remotely qualified.  We supported Crean who we didn't really like and didn't think was a good coach.  We supported the absolutely mind blowing hires of Archie and Woody at least for the first few years.  When Crean was pulling guys off the baseball team to field a full roster AH was still selling out.  We have done our part.  Get this hire right or we are done.  Sorry not sorry.

To be fair it probably is a wise idea to take factually wrong information down so as to save Tucker from further incessant questioning. It's kind of the right thing to do in that situation, especially when he owned up to the mistake on this one.

Can we please put the myth to bed that Archie was a mind blowing hire? The guy was nearly universally thought of as the next great coach. He was turning down power conference jobs for at least a year. Yeah, hindsight is 20/20, but every school in the country wanted Archie Miller as their next coach. Woody, well, no argument from me there.

Tucker and his family have been difficult to work with from what someone told me. There was a reason he was a five star just sitting out there in April of last year. Kind of like MM.
