I would be thrilled with high 20s, low 30s win in a season. Cronin has won 30 games 3 times in his career. Anything can happen in a single elimination tournament. He made the FF in 2020-2021. Cronin, while not a “home run” hire … would be a very good hire.

The “march 2nd theory” that Isaac is proposing is based upon the waiver deadline for the NBA being March 1st. So his claim about March 2nd was that’s basically when the front office looks towards the next season which, since Brad is coming to IU, he wouldn’t worry about.

But it’s also a Sunday and there’s no way an announcement like that would happen on a Sunday. March 3 would make the troll marginally more believable but no anonymous internet poster would have this info especially not 2 weeks in advance. Dude needs to get a life

Yeah, I’d personally be surprised if there’s any official announcement before our season is over. So at the earliest that’s March 9th if we miss the B1G tourney.

 

Id guess a more likely time frame is around the first or second round of the NCAA tournament depending on who we’re targeting and if they’re still competing. That said we almost have to have someone in place by March 23rd given the transfer portal opens on March 24th.
