People say hire a coach for their future, not their past. But the best predictor of future behavior (success, in this instance) is past behavior. He's not the sexiest hire largely because of his personality but two of the most successful coaches we've experienced at IU haven't exactly been sweeties themselves. It's not a beauty contest anyway. I was a little skeptical last year when he was discussed as a possible Woodson replacement but he’s more than proven me wrong!
