This guy is turning into oppo burner. This is the kind of burner tweets we want to see.
I want to silence rick bozich who says there is no chance stevens will come to iu.

Beard is definitely not the floor! Let's get real. He would kill it. Alot of other coaches we will probably hire who will be worse

If Dolson can keep Beard on a short leash successfully, Beard can be the best candidate. The more I think of this IU job, the coach has to have outgoing personality. No more introverts or weirdos. We need a normal, outgoing person who can coach.

Cronin, Buzz, and McCasland is an absolutely great, winning list.

All three are no bullshirt, college basketball-lifer, young enough, 100% winning coaches.

All of them would be a massive upgrade from the past eight years.

Rumor has it Mick is not much of a much of a Los Angeles style personality lol. Yes I know the buyout is high, but where there is a will there is always a way.And all Mick Cronin does is win; Googl… ahh you know the drill.

I don't know a soul who would be happy with Cronin. That'd be an insane letdown.

The more I think about this the more I want Beard. We're not hiring someone to teach a moral and ethics class. We're hiring someone to win basketball games. If he can keep his nose clean then it'll be 20 years of excellence. Imagine this time-line: we hire Dusty and in turn UM hires Beard. In the next 5 years IU continues to struggle and May is on the hot seat meanwhile UM has a final 4 and another 2nd weekend trip.

Risky is the correct word and Dolson needs to knock this hire out of the freaking park and McCollum doesn’t do that.  We have already been set back 8 + years since Crean, we can’t afford 4 more years of mediocre, we will lose too many fans and supporters, IMO

IF IU doesn't land Stevens, and hires someone other than McCollum, they will be kicking themselves 5 years from now.  Risky is not hiring someone with 4 National Championships.  Risky would be hiring someone with a history of Domestic Violence.

I think Scott likes having the Beard information out there even if it’s all coming from Beards agent and some friends who are former players. It lets him do his work behind the scenes without people paying attention.

All I keep thinking Dolson is like Snidely Whiplash here…… lol

I feel confident that not only would Beard win here, he would have zero off court issues….but I am so sick of this divided fanbase, it would get even worse with Beard, that’s a shame but it’s true!
