It's not really a wish, but more of a reality that Brad will be returning home to coach in front of his dad, coach his son, and secure his daughter a scholarship to play soccer at Indiana University

Maybe Brad is just banking on the futility of IU administration when it comes to managing basketball and knows he can evaluate his life at the time and do this every 3-4 years in perpetuity lol

Why couldn't Sampson just not been an idiot? He had it made.

Same reason SEC motto is “you ain’t cheating if you ain’t trying”. They all did/do it with one exception Robert Montgomery Knight. Coach K was a big cheater his players were all paid. We know about the Adidas scandal or worse UNC/Kansas academic scandal. I guess my point looking in hindsight is we probably should have slapped Sampsons wrist, kept him, and won a couple more titles. But the reason we lose now, odds are will continue to lose, are these holier than thou fans/alumni and mentality that won’t consider or hire a coach like Beard.

If this is a movie then Dusty May coming back home to IU to lead the program is the best story even if Brad was to come to IU.   The Journey story next year for May if he becomes IUs coach will be epic.   For me it’s May until told otherwise.  If he gets through the season without an extension the story is too good for him not to come back

I expect a Tweet from Goodman, Davis, etc any day now confirming that Dusty has signed a new deal with UM with a $15-20M buyout.  It’s coming.

I actually feel better about getting May after just 1 year at Michigan rather than him being there longer and establishing roots. His bags still aren’t fully unpacked yet. It’s as easy as he appreciates the opportunity Michigan gave him, he turned them around, but he got an offer he can’t refuse to coach at home. I think the only way Dusty signs an extension with UM is if it’s because Dolson isn’t trying to get him.

Key question, is he renting or does he own?

We have less than a month to get this thread to 2k pages. To spark conversation, we need RTZ, Isaac, Chris, AP to speculate some based on known information. Remember, it's not about how many times you've been wrong, but only about the one time you're right. It's how legends are made. Gentlemen, the task is simple: speak Brad into existence, fall back on Dusty, and if all else fails we will settle for #BringTomHome to see some exciting Hurryin' Hoosier basketball

There, fixed it!

Or we can require each post have no more than 2 letters :)

Thus a single post will not take 10 posts to convey a message

He’s 62 and his last two years are well below his historical standard, the chance he’s washed or retiring is wayyyyyyyyyy greater than the chance he’s gonna move to Bloomington and reestablish what he’s got at KU

Maybe his actual coaching is exposed now that he's been forced to play on a level playing field when it comes to "acquiring" talent.
