DITTO....I was warming up to him but he sounds like he would not handle our fishbowl very well at this point....maybe he just had a bad night but I say we avoid.

I hope this is true! If May would bolt for IU after only one season at Michigan he will be hated by Michigan fans for eternity, big deal, he gets booed every time IU plays at Michigan. I don’t think the college basketball world as a whole can/will blame him for taking his dream job. If he really wants the IU job, this may be his only chance, we might get lucky and find our coach for the next 20 years. Then again, after us bringing Woody back, he may no longer have interest in the IU job…Michigan is going to throw some big bucks and a huge buy out at him any time now, he signs that and his future is in Ann Arbor!

It's really not worth arguing about at this point. I've stopped. We know he won't be hired and no amount of some people on message boards and social media trying to wish the hire into existence won't be any more effective than everyone trying to wish the Brad Stevens hire into existence. He has the drinking which IU doesn't tolerate (see Kevin Wilson) as well as at least 1 DV incident (unlikely his first, especially considering the severity). Even if they disregard that, they know it would fracture the fanbase. No way IU signs up for that despite some people on the internet thinking it's not a big deal.

It is interesting to see who is willing to overlook or, worse, downplay DV in favor of hypothetically winning. I say hypothetically since his record isn't really all that impressive at the P5 level outside of 2 seasons that he hasn't been able to replicate.

Coach Facial Hair won't be hired. My advise is to just ignore talk about him.

It's not really a wish, but more of a reality that Brad will be returning home to coach in front of his dad, coach his son, and secure his daughter a scholarship to play soccer at Indiana University

Getting booed by Michigan fans is less than a non factor and only one time per year at home games or on a neutral floor and will fade in a few years to a few spontaneous boos to what are you even booing about.

Agree. Don’t read my post as a defense of Woody… people are coloring Cronin’s calling out fans (in a reasonable situation to do so) based on Woody’s true fan remarks.
