What is happening in two weeks? I don’t expect any announcement until well into March pending how long the next coach lasts in the tournament.

better follow UCLA, Clemson, UM and Baylor very closely in March :) My bet is one of these coaches will be at IU with the two teams bolded as my best betting odds to be the next HC at IU.

IndyStar poo poo’d the rumors in their article this morning (Niziolek and Osterman), they wrote, “The overwhelming majority of noise and fury filtering through the IU basketball ecosystem right now is, to use an industry term, crap.”

That said, I am hoping the BTB posters claiming to be in the know are right…

I feel like if Stevens isn't a candidate and there's no chance of convincing him, Dolson would want to amplify that to the fanbase ASAP. You can't introduce a new coach not named Brad Stevens when you have fans who are still convinced it could be Brad Stevens.

IMO we should root for whoever the next coach is to have an early exit in the tournament. March 23 is the last day of the second round and on March 24 the portal is open. The sooner the better it’s announced. Need to get to work on a staff and roster for next year ASAP.

Nobody really thinks it’s Brad Stevens. And every article or tweet from any professional reporter who’s willing to put their name on it has specifically said it isn’t Brad Stevens. It would honestly be kind of weird for Dolson to come out and address a very tiny minority of people on social media and message boards.
