Nearly a decade of following IU "Insiders" and there is not a more trusted and truthful voice in sharing of information (without an agenda). Doesn't guarantee info comes to fruition, but as a human source (HUMINT) Chris is the most trustworthy imo

I don’t think we have a chance at Brad but I’m pretty confident that SS is just pulling **** from his @$$.  If you know anything about him you know he’s an egomaniac.  Goes by Coach Sam Story and posts basketball stuff all day yet I believe he never anything more than a girls lacrosse coach.  Might have been just an assistant.

Common sense says we aren’t getting Brad.  I’d say it’s 90% certain.  So he’s putting this out knowing he has no inside information and then when we don’t get Brad he can run to all the message boards and say see, see I told.  No is more well connected regarding IU basketball than me.  Never doubt me again.

That is what he’s doing people but yes, he’s probably going to be right.

I think the IU opening is going to get several coaches extensions.  Dusty just received his.  Could be the agents for Otzelberger, Cronin, Drew, McDermott, Lloyd, Brownell, etc... are all floating these coaches to get extensions.  Still hoping for Stevens.  If not Stevens, I think Bennett, Otzelberger, or Collins would be good fits at IU.

I appreciate you. I can't count out any candidate right now for sure. I would say I would fall out of my chair if it was Chris Beard but not saying we miss on 15 people and he gets it. I highly doubt it but to say someone is out right now is crazy. Brad might say no and Andy Mohr comes back with 15 million a year and he takes the job. No one knows right now

Chris lays out his thinking and sources about as well as anyone could realistically ask for.

And if it is the case that Dolson & Co have been doing what they can to keep things bottled up, it makes sense that he'd feed "intel" of this nature to someone like Sam Story.

None of this proves anything and I'm fully willing to accept it if Brad is not the guy. Just saying there's no definitive reason to assume SS has better info than anyone else.

The only candidate we can confidently count out is Woodson. If you want to count out Mike Woodson, you go to Mike Woodson.
