I feel that's what posters did to IUWINS0708. I may be way off, jmo
The posters are definitely going to do that. Most of the ones that will are huge a holes. The info that had came out even if you just take the sterling video clears all these insiders. They are posting what they are hearing. I respect all of them. Chris has been right about alot of stuff. Isaac may be a troll but I am not certain. If he is you would think he would post more often to get people more wound up imo

Where do you get that he's fading off a bit?  He's still finished in the top 4 of the Big 12 (the best conference in basketball during that time) the last 6 years and hasn't finished worse than 7th since 2010-2011.  Sure it's a down year this year, but nothing tells me he is fading.

Most proven coaches are going to have had really good years at previous stops.

If Scott Drew says yes, you take him and run.

I think it’s mostly that I’m pinning my hopes on infusing something young and fresh into the program at this point instead of trying to go for instant winning success for a few years with an older coach. I think it’s great that he is religious, but I also feel that sometimes people at that age can start to have different priorities in life and other things become More important and the passion that he once had is not exactly there anymore and I would rather not take a chance on that.
I also feel that he is most likely in a better environment, religiously speaking down there in Baylor than he would be here at Indiana so it doesn’t really make sense to me on that level.

He’d be a slam dunk for sure. And after a reading a couple threads their natives seem a little restless which is insane. Maybe he’s ready for a change of scenery (or any scenery after living in Waco), and a return home.

May have missed it, and sorry if answered, but what’s the NIL situation at Baylor? He has continued to recruit well, so I am guessing probably better than say an Iowa State situation?

I personally do not like the idea of Scott Drew as the next coach simply because I think he’s fading off a bit and would rather not have a coach that has spent his better years at another school.

I don't know that I'd say he's fading off. This is a down year, sure, but the previous three are as follows:

27-7 (14-4), tied for 1st

23-11 (11-7), tied for 3rd

24-11 (11-7), tied for 3rd

Won a game in the tourney each year. He won the title the year in 2020-21. That'd be the best stretch we've had in a long time.

It might be before your time but Ewe Blab had the worst hands in the history of IU.

Uwe. And yes, he had infamously bad hands. Heard a pretty crazy story about him while in S. Bend for the IU/ND football game. NSFW.

I remember Blab, but the point is we recruit and get too many players with terrible hands.

I'll bet it's a current active p4 coach not in the Big Ten that has been to a final 4 in the first ten years of his coaching career. I feel confident in my wager.

Isaac may have some connections, others have said he posted last year that Buckner had the votes to keep Woodson before the release came out.

I think he jumped the shark on his posts about the coaching search though.

What is the record length for a thread on this site?

The College Bball Thread is over 3k pages. The previously named Fire Mike Woodson thread is over 2k.

He's also "only" 54. So we could still have a 15 year run with him.  So only 6 years older than BS or Otzelberger.  He's been around forever so he feels older.  I'd be surprised if he left too; but don't think you can say no thanks if he expresses interest.

If I remember correctly Uwe, ty for the spell check, was the equivalent to a 5☆ recruit. We had John Flowers in that class I believe, another all-American.

He posted the first day he joined about that, I have the link to his first post somewhere.
