That was you guy 8 years ago if I’m remembering right.   Wonder what he has been up to lately.  I haven’t seen any news on him

He's been waiting on us to call him.  Still waiting...

For a guy with his resume it's amazing nobody's giving him a second chance

I will throw out what my priorities would be if I were Dolson. And I'd go down the line and kick the tires of these guys in order.

1. Brad Stevens

2. Nate Oats

3. Chris Beard

4. Dusty May

5. Greg McDermott

6. Shaka Smart

7. Buzz Williams

8. Ben McCollum

I may have missed someone I like but this is a good list for me and I don't think it would make it past 3 without a done deal and if it did, it wouldn't make it past 4.

Meaning if extended or not extended he is not coming to IU?

Michigan is trying to sign May to a new contract. If there is a new contract, that’s not an automatic “No” to IU. The key piece to examine is the buyout.”

Just got off the phone. This sounds like a smokescreen. Still anticipate stevens signing after this weekend

Doubtful.  Actual media people who cover IU are finding out he is a clear “no.”

The only sliver of hope when it comes to Stevens would be that he didn't really say anything about the IU job. Also Nic Daban was more blunt about the Alabama job and still took it.

Saying that I would be happy with most of the candidates mentioned on her and only be disappointed if it got down to the Moser or Brownell types of coaches

If the rumor that Few reached out to IU is true he has to rocket to the top of the board.

Is this even real?

McCollum is the guy who’d get me the most amped. I’m probably in the minority on that, but if they go get him, check back with me in 2 years on how you feel about the hire.

Darian DeVries and Mark Byington have to be ahead in line, they are proving they can win in a power conference.
