Popular Post HoosierTrav Posted February 11 Popular Post Posted February 11 Anyone else share my feeling that this time just feels different compared to the last 4 times? The national media isn’t mocking IU or brushing the job off like usual. They’re actually fluffing it up. There’s a noticeable shift in narrative, with more buzz about how big of a deal this job really is. Dolson is running point….. I don’t know…. I just have a strong intuition that we’re going to land a big name. Chris007, go iu bb, BGleas and 15 others 18
hoosierbannerd Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I haven't seen anyone post anything about Few's buyout?

Of the guys who would potentially leave their jobs to come to IU, Cronin is at or very near the top of the list.

I don't think it moves the needle much For me people need to stop worrying about moving the needle and hire someone that actually can come in here and build the program back. Cronin would do that. His history says IU would be competing in top half of the conference something IU hasn’t done on a consistent basis in a long time. If your floor as a coach for hiring cycle is Cronin then IU should be just fine. IU as a program is past the quick fix faze in my opinion and that’s where most are getting hung up on. In their opinion IU is a quick fix away from being back on top. I disagree for me IU needs a grinder that brings back a winning culture. If that’s a white whale awesome, if that’s former manager that has proven he can make it to the Final 4 great, however if it’s a grinder like Cronin that turns it around then let’s ride OKHOOSIER, hper50, PartyintheVillas and 6 others 8 1

But.... sitting here today, taking out off-the-court stuff.... you're saying with a straight face Cronin is a better basketball coach than Beard? You find off the court conduct irrelevant? Why would I take away the fact that there is a high likelihood he embarrasses and/or gets a lawsuit against the university sending this program further down the sh*tter away from his positional value as a candidate? Unexpectedflash Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I wonder if there will be a Cronin and beard argument once a day until we finally get a coach AZ Hoosier 1
