Roster was set up nicely.  I would have to go and look but I’m guessing they have quite a few top 100 kids.   Oats has done a fantastic job.  Also shows you a little bit about what kind of coach Avery Johnson was in my opinion

He could of put all his effort and time into Watford and it wouldn’t of mattered.   He was staying in the South

Current roster has 6 top 100 RSCI guys, and Oats landed all but one. So Miller’s second year team had one more inherited too 100 guy; he had two: Davis and Smith.

Probably not. Not exactly sure where he stood on my wishlist anyway. Big appeal for having been successful at the mid-major level and the success translating, at least so far, to the power 5 level. I just love that he has the kind of personality to call out Coach K (that was him right?) and to tell Wade and the whole LSU bench to get the F out of here. Hilarious.

Archie didn’t inherit the roster Bruce Weber got from Self at Illinois but he got a perfectly normal high major coaching change situation. One year of Rob Johnson, two of Juwan Morgan, three of De’Ron Davis and Devonte Green, plus he chose to try and succeed to keep Al Durham, Justin Smith, and Clifton Moore. That’s perfectly fine and I’m soooo sick of the idea it was uniquely bad. It’s better than what Underwood got, similar to what Oats got...
