Iu we fired archie knowing we may end up getting Woodson we are even dumber than I thought. And I think we are pretty dumb.

Yeah, that'd be malpractice to not have an idea. You could be right, McCollum could have a dream of being a Hawkeye legend, but then again you'd think Btown boy Dusty May would have the same dream. 

I'm still 5% in the camp that Dusty is coming to IU at seasons end - because that's what I want to believe. I also believe that Brad Steven is IU's next head coach.

That’s why I think Dolson actually had Matta ready to go and QB overruled him.   
 

Anyway, sounds like QB is out of the picture on this one.

And there is the risk.  I think a lot of people expect a Dusty May style turn around.  Dusty at least had D1 experience and a FF4 run.  

It's scary the amount of people who seem convinced he would kill it here because he won at d2 and they are impressed the way he talks about x and o's. The fishbowl could swallow him up in two seconds and I'd love to hear the excuses at that point.

May accepting the revised contract at Michigan made me think IU already had their guy.  
 

The other side of that is the argument that Mays family is still around town.  And if didnt end well at IU for May, a lot of lives could be affected.

I’d say it’s going to be a lot longer till we find out. Unfortunately the names media has been throwing out lately are probably some of the ones we are targeting.   It sucks, unless we find a diamond in the rough.

It is a shame so many posters on this board, many regulars along with some newbies have taken to attack and demean @Chris007, @RoadToZion, @JerryYeagley23 .  "oh we dont like being trolled" "dont tell us stuff that might not turn out to be true" ...If you have been paying attention Chris has said so many times that if he were to guess if it were BS it would be less than 50%.  Even yesterday he was questioning how "homerun" was defined.  RTZ has not changed his position yet nor has JY.  The RTZ comment it is dead, then the undertaker plus Tony,Toni...post on the bunt could mean they pivoted to a different big hire.  

The thing is, anyone better than a risinig star as a coach would be on par with what our peers have done over the last decade.  Have they suggested it is a bigger fish, sure.  Is it still possible, sure.  Could it be a swing and a miss, sure, but so many of you get personal with the attacks on people on here that are our community/friends.
