He is who Dolson uses when he wants to put info out.  Osterman was the one who gave us the great news last year that the King was returning for another season.

Ostermen gets some preferential treatment and usually gets a lot of big statements because he has access.  I'm not sure he's more connected than others on the specifics of the search.

A journalist explained to me that there's two ways to really get info.  You can go in the front door and ask, and you get the info they want you to have.  Go in through a window or back door, you may get the info you actually want.  Osterman can get a statement when he wants it, but he's not going to ruin his access to get it.

There are only 3 coaches that i absolutely don’t want. If it would be any of them, which I don’t think it will, I would follow the team and absolutely support the team, but would not give a rats @$$ about the coach. I’m using voice to text so don’t jump on my grammar lol. If it’s any of the other “lesser“ desired coaches, I will absolutely support them and give them a chance because nobody knows what any coach can do at any school at any given time.

I think Dolson is spending virtually zero amount of time or energy sending out false flags, trying to fool people or send people in wrong directions. 
He's doing his job and keeping things as quiet as he can, but he's not wasting time sending out "smokescreens".
