Hornsby Posted March 14 Posted March 14 If it’s not the A tier candidates I’d much rather take a swing at a guy like McCollum than someone like Brownell. Regardless of who the next coach is, the fanbase needs to back him. Show support and rally the program. We will certainly give them a shot and hope the risk works. I guess we will see if doldon really is a genius or not Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk Home Jersey 1

He doesn’t gamble much with this stuff. However, Rabby has to start gambling at some point. He's got to show his subscribers that he "knows" something. With how quite things have been in this search, he's probably feeling the heat. Oh after they stirred up that Beard stuff last week (after saying he wasn't a candidate since the start) then immediately went back to saying he's not a candidate, he's been banning people right and left when people were rightfully starting to get after him. He isn’t close to BS certainly but you seem to have soured on him a lot. This is funny MonteMarcaccini 1

I just want IU to be successful and it’s going to take a lot if we go this route. Dolson knows this but it might be his only option but I don’t think so. Can’t wait to hear though. I actually like McCollum. Dolson is smart enough to get a staff around him to help bridge any gap. He brought in Fife and Matta before. He will get a good GM in place. I’m just saying I wouldn’t expect it, kind of how I don’t expect IU football to compete for conference and/or national titles. That’s where my view on IU basketball would go. Maybe McCollum would prove me wrong. I’d hope that he would. My expectations for IU being an elite program would finally die from that hire. Maybe it’s my fault for still having them this late in the game anyway. Home Jersey and Chris007 2

Popular Post FightFor6 Posted March 14 Popular Post Posted March 14 I don't dislike McCollum but I have immediate concerns about any candidate that needs the AD to immediately build up a support system to cover gaps in his ability to run a big-time program.
