I personally find it hard to believe that Scott doesn't already have it wrapped up this close to portal time. He may not have it signed officially due to timing and certain situations but I'd like to think he knows who it is going to be.

If it’s not Brad Stevens or Jay Wright, go ahead and cancel the program and invest in the WBB program. Each of us have approved of this idea. Any other names outside those mentioned above can coach at Tri North Middle School if they want.

That's if the admin at Tri North Middle are even open to changing coaches...they probably don't want Turgeon either. That middle school coach will be mentioned as the next IU hire later this evening by someone on this board.

The odds aren't surprising. Given the slow bleed of information regarding the "top tier" coaches not interested, McDermott and McCollum were the likely candidates out of the rest. Thought it was hilarious that Stevens wasn't even on that list. Kind of like he's not been that close all along. Looks like I'm watching Drake and Creighton from here on out fellas.

The entire country thinks IU basketball is a joke. If they're proud of that and laugh at the fans wanting something better than mediocre garbage, then this further proves what a joke of a program we are.

This is where I'm at. The lack of substantive noise surrounding rumored candidates is telling. Certainly feels to me like Dolson has had this figured out for a while.

Just saw a article on MSN  headline reads 8 coaches have turned IU down . Anyway  no idea about a guy named Tipton from on 3 sports saying its down to Brownell and McCollum  so is this guy credible ?

Not even a little bit. My understanding is that there's little or no knowledge of IU pursuing anyone, only rumors.
