It’s  hard to be happy right now with yet another tournament starting and our team not in it. And this is why the change had to happen. And I think there was very little evidence that this thing would turn around. 
 

Can’t wait to hire our next huge embarrassing failure!

I feel super good about this.  The money was there.  They have to have significant interest in high level coaches to pull the trigger now.  Hopefully it retains the players we need, motivate the ones that need it, and attract high level talent to make IU relevant again!!!  It's time to quit D***ing around!!!

Doubtful. Anyone we want to talk to is still coaching with the exception of people like Beilein, Matta, etc.

Archie Miller is a class act. A great man. I wish him nothing but the best. When he came to talk in Evansville he stayed for over an hour to visit with fans. He was super nice to me and my step dad. I wish it would've worked out. I thought he was the guy. But this move had to be made. I would love to see him at a school like UE.

My guess is they already have an agreement with the next Coach.  I don't think you make this move and figure it out as you go.  Too much money involved.  Plus, you get the new Coach in, talk to players and recruits and give them time to make the decision best for them.

Obviously, time will tell but to me, it depends a lot on who's announced as our next coach.  I won't be surprised to see kids put their name in the transfer portal to keep an option open, but it's not a guarantee they'll end up leaving.   I would definitely expect Duncomb to ask to be released from his NOI.

If so, how long do they wait for the new coach presser?  Hopefully today.  I can't take the suspense.
