Gotta believe we're going to start hitting some of those shots that haven't been falling. If this team shows up the rest the way I like our chances. Deserthoozier Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Live by the sword, die by the sword! Green light on today- thank god! Good to see Rob ball - set the tone and made major difference. Not perfect, but big effort by almost all. Good to see everyone engaged. Nice job by Archie too - I like that he gave the team run, and that it worked!! DLG3 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I have been critical if the coaching staff and was still a little frustrated with a couple things today. But credit where it’s due...Archie pulled the right strings and got a different hustle and energy out of this team. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners JaybobHoosier, Ranger78 and mark1981 3 Quote
Southside Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Love the fight, but still a lot of areas that need to improve. I'll take it regardless. Great team win over a top 25 team. Couldn't believe how bad we looked in the paint at times. JaybobHoosier 1 Quote
Popular Post pumpfake Posted January 11, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2020 Archie Miller totally outcoached Holtmann and his highly rated team today (Yes, that's said with sarcasm but for the ones who would have proudly claimed the opposite if we'd lost) taco corp, JaybobHoosier, Hillsdale87 and 8 others 10 1 Quote
Ranger78 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I give credit to Archie for sticking with Green. I thought he should sit the 2nd half. I don’t think we win without Green’s play in the 2nd half. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Deserthoozier, colonel06, pumpfake and 1 other 4 Quote

Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Ohio State fans are probably fuming. Ohio State now with 4 straight losses. Looking like another year where they fold yet again. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners southsidehoosier 1 Quote
kreigh8 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 What I’ll never understand here is all the focus on Green win or lose yet Al gets a pass constantly other than the excuse he wasn’t highly rated coming in so expectations are somehow less. Dude IS a captain after all Quote
Popular Post Chris007 Posted January 11, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2020 So glad Archie remembered how to coach. Good win!! 13-3, 3rd in the big ten. jk34, ALASKA HOOSIER, IUc2016 and 16 others 18 1 Quote
Bobman1 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Great Win! A lot of credit goes to the coaching staff and players after being under fire all week and they responded well. The Big Ten is going to be a whack league the whole year and it’s important not to get too high after a win like today or too low after something like Wisconsin. The whole season will likely follow that trend but hopefully the Hoosiers can take after MSU and just roll through.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ALASKA HOOSIER, mamasa, thebigweave and 2 others 5 Quote

DLG3 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I like Archie's adjustments the last two games.Same. We’re all doom and gloom when the last several games have looked the way they have, but even small adjustments can alter your season’s trajectory. I liked several things today...thought picking up full court and falling back to man to man was effective in upping the pressure. Popular Post RaceToTheTop Posted January 11, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2020 Ohio State falls to 11-5 and 1-4 in conference. Starting to lose a lot of faith in KenPom. Ohio State entered today ranked #4 in Pom and their offense was 14th.....despite being held under 60 points for three straight games. That streak is now at 4. And 9-7 Purdue at #22? Pffft. Dude IS a captain after allOther than one bad turnover later in the second half and not scoring, what else did he do wrong? He played really good defense and unselfish ball. The entire team played with great effort, which is why fans aren’t complaining so much about the mistakes. He plays with intensity and the players feed on that.
