I was scrolling through Facebook and saw "Glass to retire at the end of the year." I hought it was some IU meme page making a joke or posting fake news. Very sudden and very odd...

In the unlikely event the NCAA actually brings it down on UL, would Jurich be part of it?  i.e. can an AD or ex-AD get a "show cause" penalty.

I have to say that before the revelations that led to Jurich & Pitino's exit, I saw Jurich as the model of the kind of AD I wished we had.  I don't see any way he'd get consideration for the job.

Have seen Pat Kraft's name mentioned by several different people and I'm not advocating one way or the other because I'm totally unfamiliar with the man but this is from a Temple U. website and it sounds pretty good.

This is the statement from McRobbie. This is what I am talking about regularly when it comes to the things behind the scenes that is being pushed and why Glass is doing his job. It’s also why I have concerns no matter who is in the position. You can plainly see what he wants and what he is concerned about. There is no commitment to winning. This why for the last couple of years I have said in the Fire Glass thread be careful what you wish for. You got it. Here is what he is up against.

Fred already taking steps to distance himself from his replacement?

Fred Glass says that he won't formally help in the selection process for Indiana's next athletic director. That will be 100% run by President McRobbie.

No. Just means when IU would be brought up he has to leave the room. It might have to do that anyway now. I know if Bradley was being brought up as an at large discussion he would have to leave the room. I know last year or year before mike whites dad was on committee and anytime Florida and duke was being discussed he had to leave
