RaceToTheTop Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Saw that Huntington Prep's coach had tweeted congratulations to Austin Van Zyl and then 2020 power forward (#33 on 247) Jaemyn Brakefiled on their IU offers. Van Zyl had stated he had an offer and three hours later Brakefield posted that he had. Van Zyl briefly played at Huntington Prep before moving to France and Brakefield I believe is a senior at Huntington Prep this year. Have no idea what that means. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

He said that he reached his conclusion on a "text I saw and a message board thread on another site". Brakefield offer came after Van Zyl said he had an offer and Jeff tweeted about Brakefield getting an offer but nothing on Van Zyl. He committed just never signed his loi. Rick Bozich went on radio in Louisville during the fall signing period when that went on and said he was part of a package deal that fell through.
