ap2345 Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 I'd be fine with a Grad transfer PG too. I like Diara, from what I've seen, but would choose Garcia between the two. Yeah but this isn’t a Diarra or Garcia situation.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Crimson and Cream, jk34, thebigweave and 2 others 5 Quote
ap2345 Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Understood, I was addressing your "if not Diara we might not get a PG for '20" thought. I'd love both but I do think finding a solid back-up PG via grad transfer is a realistic option. Seriously doubt IU could find another big man anywhere near the level of Garcia. I gotcha. Yeah I agree with that. I just don’t know that Archie will go the grad transfer route but he might.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Popular Post HoosierAloha Posted October 11, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 11, 2019 I would love to add Garcia to the fold after DeRon Davis exhaust his eligibility. Having versatile bigs in Garcia and Jackson-Davis alongside a seasoned Brunk be a notch in this staffs belt. This is something that bothered me about previous coaching staffs. We always seemed to have a deficiency somewhere. I’d feel pretty good about a frontcourt with RS Senior Brunk, RS Junior Thompson, sophomore Jackson-Davis, and freshman Garcia. Popular Post BH33 Posted October 18, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 18, 2019 I live in Memphis market, so the media here thinks they're going to get everyone (or, should get every recruit). I was listening to the local ESPN radio affiliate on my way home yesterday afternoon and they were talking about the various recruits that Memphis is involved with. Paraphrasing, but one of the co-hosts (columnist for Memphis Commercial Appeal) said the info he heard was that it was down to Memphis and Indiana, which is half truth of what some of you guys are hearing. But, the fact that Indiana is the constant should be viewed as positive. Again, just passing along what Memphis media thinks, but they are all fanboys so it's not necessarily unbiased. mookied39, JaybobHoosier, LockdownD and 15 others 17 1 Quote
JHoosier914 Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 I have heard he is expected to announce in November. Does any body know if that might mean he plans to announce and sign? Announce and sign in the late period? Perhaps announce BEFORE the early signing period? Quote

Announce and sign in the early signing period seems the most likely according to most of the people covering his recruitment Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app mdn82 1 Quote
AKHoosier Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 This feels like another case where we all get excited about a recruit that IU gets in on late, takes an official visit, then goes somewhere else. It's been quite a while since we've won one like this for a top 50 guy from out of state. I can't help but feeling like I'm getting my hopes up only for him to choose Marquette.
