Popular Post Walking Boot of Doom Posted October 21, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 21, 2019 People trying to find take aways from this game and not mentioning that Jerome Hunter played real minutes and looked like he was BUSY. 4 TOs no good, but chalk it up to rust. Good shooting numbers, two steals, and did I mention the minutes?Let’s go. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners IUsafety, jk34, thebigweave and 9 others 12 Quote

So I'd say yeah the low FT% for this team could matter quite a bit. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk If he stays healthy and in game shape, he will be a MAJOR piece in this puzzle. Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 You get a walk on spot, you get a walk on spot, I get a walk on spot, we all get a walk on spot. Just kidding obviously, as we have spaces to play with but the timing of these additions have been intriguing. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners thebigweave 1 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Averaged 5 points as a senior guard from ArchBishop Moeller. Things that make ya go hmmm. Does his GPA count towards the teams GPA? Might as well fill up the spots with practice bodies I suppose. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote

goonaha Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Maybe they need more practice players and he tried out and coach is letting him walk on as a result. Probably something more nefarious going on here though judging by the takes of the usual suspects. woodenshoemanHoosierfan 1 Quote
barrettballer Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 I have a friend who is a basketball manager and he says walk on spots are more about who you know opposed to talent or high school performance. Most are there to try and get coaching jobs at some point.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Stuhoo, Crimson and Cream, thebigweave and 3 others 6 Quote

Trish Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 New walk-ons are the team GPA / family or friend favor. This is common tradition. Quote

LamarCheeks Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Archie just said Devonte and Rob are no-gos for tomorrow night. I think he said Rob has a lower-abdominal issue and Devonte has a hamstring problem. Damn -- why are we so snakebit with injuries! I hope Rob's not gonna be hampered all season like he was last year with the concussion. Don't know how good we're gonna be, but would love to see us be able to compete with everybody relatively healthy. Quote
