2018-2019 Rotation Discussion Thread

So you trust Rabby, who has no real NBA insider info, barely has IU info. The truth is Juwan has either worked out or is been requested to workout for as of now 7 NBA teams and guess what he has no agent! Let’s just say there is a reason I’m know this and will continue to know information similar for years to come.

I am confused. What point are you trying to make about him not having an agent? That would lead me to believe he is coming back and the feedback was such. Him working out for 7 teams or how many ever was kind of why the process changed to what it is. If he came out of that and got an agent his feedback told him to. Would be interested to understand that.

Well I understand you guys would love for Juwan to be here for your selfish reasons,. The question is which one is worse, a so called crappy attitude or people openly disrespecting a kids lifelong dream.

Coming back to IU is likely more beneficial to accomplishing his lifelong dream. Yeah, I want him to come back for selfish reasons. But, him coming back helps him too.

Verses not getting drafted, sure but if some team sees the potential I could see him getting drafted. He would need an outside shot but his form is good and he has really good handles for a big. Add the outside shot and he is a pretty tough player.

Many believe that he will improve that outside shot more at IU where he has limited time available to him to work with coaches. In the NBA, many teams do a really good job developing talent now and do not have these restrictions. Further, in the NBA he would nat have to go to class and can just focus on basketball.

So the big question is, will he be able to make a roster. A lot of guys, even undrafted guys, end up making a roster. If he can make a roster he has as good, if not a better chance to improve his game as he has coming back.

The chance of him making an NBA roster next year is very low.

Starters:

Robert P / Green / Romeo / Smith / Morgan

This is our best line up on both sides of the basketball. Sure we're a little small, but it's the pack-line defense, we'll grab some boards. I would consider this our GSW "death" line-up.

Bench:

Al / Anderson / Hunter / Race / Davis

Not exactly coming in all at once. I see these boys as the five coming off the bench in some sort of rotation. I wouldn't put this  exact group on the court unless we're up 40.

Odd Men Out:

Moore, Forrester, Fitzner

Moore still developing along with Jake. Fitzner will get some burn here and there I believe with his ability to stretch the floor, but I think some of the more talented rookies will get the PT.

We're heavy on forwards, would've loved another guard, but we'll make it work I'm sure. When games matter, I see about seven - eight players that get in the game. We should be top five in the B1G if all goes well. I'd be surprised if we didn't make the dance. Our shooting may still be a little questionable..

Gotta Squeeze McRoberts in there somewhere. I think he starts at least at the beginning of the year, bumping Robert P to the bench. Anderson moves to the "odd men out" category.

Agree with this. I also see Fitzner getting minutes. No way he doesn’t.

Forgot about him.. wow. We're really loaded with forwards.

Robert / DG / Romeo / Smith / Morgan

Al / Anderson / McRoberts / Davis / Hunter

RACE / MOORE / FITNZER / FORRESTER  fighting for minutes.

I don't see both Phinisee and Green starting.

Yeah, Fitzner is going to play. Might be 15 minutes, might be 20 minutes, but he didn't come here to sit the bench.

Me either, in fact I would shocked. That's an under-sized line-up with 2 Freshmen and 3 of the 4 guards on the roster too.

Not saying it wouldn't be an exciting team, but not sure the D would be there, especially right out of the gate.

Just speaking the logical truth with a little arrogance. I guess I was speaking directly to you in my last post!

Well this is a different tone than the PM. Let me come with a different tone then too. Your ignorance is astonishing even for message boards. It’s not arrogance. You have to know something to be arrogant and you obviously know nothing about me. I have never been on Peegs. I never will. Did Peegs offend you? Or does it really bother you that bad people believe someone who has been around years over a flash in the pan?

To this point you’ve spoken in riddles and roundabout manners. You’ve added no value, and only been a prick. On Rabjohns, I too think he’s not worth the money. But only a fool gives away valuable information for free. If you act like this in your job, I can’t imagine you have many people willing to help you out either.

These personal attacks seem unwarranted and are unbecoming of the board. RealIU is trying to contribute, give him a chance. Best case, we have another good source here. Worst case, you can block him.

Trying to contribute? No he is not. Quite the opposite actually. He is trying to act like he had the holy grail of information which he does not. Then act like a total ******* in between. I have yet to see Chris or any other insider act like an ******* when they have information. That includes the PU boards you frequent. It’s because when you have real information you don’t. You don’t care if people believe you. This would be a first if he truly has info.
