wirenuts Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Does anyone have Villanova on upset alert besides me?Judging by my bracket challenge track history, I picked them to win it all...that's a kiss of death in itselfSent from my LG-H872 using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Both had fundamental flaws and didn’t react. UMBC hit a few threes and the center of the floor started opening up. That’s a huge red flag for the packline. Much like what happened in Fort Wayne and ISU game. Have to stay disciplined. Offensively we are different than VU and Zona. Zona sets one or two picks and then turns into an iso team. Weird Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app The Packline does open you up to the chance of losing if a team gets hot from 3. The important thing is to just contest them reducing the chance they get hot That's why it will be important to have an elite offense also. mdn82 and jonz44 2 Quote
AZ Hoosier Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 So what happened with Haas? I read he's "out for the season", but only a vague, passing reference to something with his elbow. Sucks to be Purdue... they have been beaten with Haas, but without him, they are quite beatable. Go get 'em, Butler! Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Allie LaForceVerified account @ALaForce Isaac Haas practiced w/@BoilerBall this afternoon. He had a brace on his fractured elbow. Brace needs to be cleared by NCAA. IF it is cleared, Purdue will have to decide if they allow him to play. He wants to play per Coach Painter. He will go through warmups tomorrow. TheWatShot Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 If his elbow really is fractured, I can't see how that would possibly be cleared. Quote
Hovadipo Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 If he plays and doesn’t get sent to the foul line 75 times, Butler is stupid. ThompsonHoosier, MIUGA, mdn82 and 4 others 6 1 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Haven't seen the brace but it needs to have a lot of padding or the NCAA needs to have coffins lined up for Butler players. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mdn82 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 So apparently some Rhode Island fan got kicked out of the game for taunting Wendell Carter Jr.'s mother. Bad enough for ushers and security to get involved, she was moved closer to the Duke bench as well. It'd be a wonder if one day adults could act like adults, instead of overgrown childern CR3AMnCR1MS0N, IUsafety, IUBBFan1970 and 3 others 6 Quote
TheWatShot Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 All the people who wrote UK off a month ago look pretty foolish now. Tennessee is trailing Loyola early in the second half. That region is literally bowing to them. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them reach the Final Four. Quote

I broke my arm right at the elbow playing basketball, finished the game, found out the next day it was broke. I continued to play with it for a couple weeks until it wasn't healing right, then I had to sit. Obviously I wasn't as effective with the broken arm though. Uspshoosier and IUsafety 2 Quote
