If something does come out wonder what Georgia does

Nothing, just like Kansas, Miami, Arizona, Oregon, NC St and others.

However, It would be Creans/IU’s luck that we were the only ones dumb enough to leave a paper trail indicating the coaches knew about the $. (This part is just me spitballing on our stretch of terrible luck and being generally pessimistic).

Kinda figured they might punish Georgia to show everybody how serious they are.

If there is something there other than hugs and mouth kisses, just lawyer up like everyone else. There’s plenty of schools needing to be investigated before our program who fired him. We went a decade of no final fours or tournament success, so in essence we self imposed in coaching. Unless Sweet 16’s is the new benchmark.

Oh Tom Crean, you sure do paint a pretty picture.

This certainly looks bad, but so far I haven't seen any testimony on money actually changing hands(it's possible I missed it). But, I wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA would come down hard on IU, while ignoring the ones who actually had players who received money. Yes I know about some people's concern about Noah, Thomas and Troy.

Yeah, being 'receptive' doesn't mean anything actually happened.  Although certainly sounds like Crean wouldn't have been against it either.  One of the few things I was peaceful with about the Crean era was I thought he wasn't going to wade into these waters even if he wasn't spotless (no one is).

In fairness still no evidence he did. He was receptive to his help does not mean he wanted to pay for players

Anyone know if this was the same MM when Thon Makur decided to attend out of the blue. When Thon came most of us thought we were not close to being in contention for him and if I recal later I read where many top recruits would take an official visit if you paid them.
