He deserves to go chase his dream.   Wish we would have had a better final season with him but I sure as heck don’t blame him.  One of my all time favorites.  Classy kid.

Oh yeah. Even putting aside what a hideous human being he is, Malone wasn’t even a great college player. He was the 3rd PF taken in his draft. They really should have named it after Wayman Tisdale, who was both a great college player and an exemplary person.

I started to say that the Wooden Award probably shouldn't be named after the biggest cheater and fraud ever involved in the game either but it does kind of make sense if you think of it as an award for the player most worthy of some Sam Gilbert cash.
