  1. Maybe he doesn't know where he wants to go.
  2. Maybe he has a favorite, but there are undetermined factors that could swing that decision.
  3. Maybe he knows where he wants to go, but realizes there is no reason to verbally commit before the spring.
  4. Maybe he knows where he wants to go, but is still determining how he wants to make the announcement.

It's his timeline... Why rush it?

You may be right he does not know where he is going yet. If he was a I00 percent iu lock it would be over imo.

No single game is going to swing this recruitment...but this is the big stage tonight. You can bet all targets are watching

Heck, that Indiana is playing in this game is a big deal.   Again, recruits look at teams from a perspective of "what would they look like with ME," so results of a given game aren't as relevant as some may think.  I hope all targets watch regardless of the outcome, and see a role for themselves.  That and relationship with coaches is what sells a recruit on where to go (provided shoe companies and their influence aren't involved.  But that never happens, right?)

Yes! But we absolutely do not have to win this game to make a hugely positive impression; we have to compete, show a system that functions with the best of the best, and show that our team is fully on board and engaged with the coaching staff.

There is a big payoff; not just to potentially seal a deal with KBj or TJD, but to be in the running for Watford, Hurt, or a very high level grad transfer down the road.

This is a good point. It’ll be interesting to see how our team plays knowing that there will be NBA scouts galore watching.

We going to have 1 or 2 guys try to “show out”?

A competitive loss would still benefit IU, the program and its players.

Word has gone around that Trayce may commit at his high school game this Friday. Their opponent: Aarman Franklin & Co.

Sort of like Yogi? This would be awesome. Heck, he could start for this team this year. I hope the news is true. I'd like for Archie to get Keion and TJD so he can focus on the loaded 2021 class. Thank god for no more Tim Priller's, Jeremiah April's, and Grant Gelon's!!!

A little premature regarding the last comment. We have one recruit right now and need some difference makers ASAP. We have zero currently

I respectfully disagree. There are difference makers on this roster. They played like absolute garbage last night. Romeo and Juwan are capable of more. Justin Smith has to play better.
