I was wondering if he would finally take blame or if he would throw the players under the buss.  Not surprisingly he threw the players under the buss instead of taking even an ounce of blame on any issue.

Tom Crean is pathetic. Look at how Tom Izzo took ownership after that blowout loss at Michigan. Izzo: "I take full responsibility for the turnovers." That is a true coach and that's why his teams play for him and play like they do

For any of the younger posters, I'd like to tell you about a magical era in IU basketball.  A time where even if the season started poorly you could count on the team improving, and watching other teams with big early season wins fall apart down the stretch - as we overtook them and roared toward March. 

 

Now we're one of those other teams.

Why in the world would we bring him back? We likely lose our best three players and bring in an average at best class. He wont recruit worth a crap for 2018 and the hole gets deeper. Probably cant make the tourney next year. Bringing him back just delays the inevitable and will set the program back a couple years.

He was the first thing in the postgame too.  He never comes out with Fisch until they are almost ready to go off the air.  something is going on internally and Crean knows it!

Our school now has the feel of an Atlantic 10 or MVC school that in a 4 year span is really good one year, decent another, then plain mediocre the other two. Then we need to pray that in the year we push our chips in, some breaks go our way.

Katz is clueless about this. The wheels were falling off well before OG went out. Blackmons loss just allowed us to play some decent D for a couple game.

Just how good does that guy think O.G. is?  He'd have to be one of the all-time great IU players to have rescued this turd of a season.  Anunuoby is a good player and was improving, but not yet a dominant player.
