HoosierAloha Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Crean strikes again! Minny goes on a 13-3 run to take a halftime lead. When would be a good time to stop the run with a timeout?! When it's over and only seconds left in the half. Brilliant!!This team operates better with Green in the game. Yes, he's a frosh and will make mistakes. If he would have had more run in the noncon cupcake feasting he would be even better. We miss threes but keep chucking them up! Makes complete sense when you have two bigs in the game. Why go into the post and punish them anyway?!Maybe call a timeout and yank everyone when you turn it over 30+% of your possessions. No, just play faster. Brilliant! We have a coach that has no feel of the game and it shows over and over. Napleshoosier, ALASKA HOOSIER, Alford Bailey and 1 other 4 Quote

He knocked down two threes in his one garbage appearance. Priller never did that.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk CrossboneIU22 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

recker222000 Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Our lack of fundamentals is staggering. Morgan's missed box out cost us the game, and I wasn't even surprised. He didn't even TRY to get a body on anyone. Of course, we had more TO's than assists. Again. Same result. When will this brain dead buffoon learn?NeverSent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote
Whoozhers Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 How can they play THAT bad?It takes a hell of a lot of effort to suck that much.Only Crean can take a talented team and coach it into a dysfunctional cluster F. bleedhoosier Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Lol well I finally mustered the courage to NOT watch a game. I'm kinda done with this program until Crean is gone. Might watch a few here and there. Popped in here to see what happens and looms like the same game thread of all season long! Haha. Alford Bailey Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 So the guy shooting the fall away at the three point line beats our guys to the ball and scores the winning bucket. The lack of fundamentals (for 9 years mind you) is staggering. Just terrible basketball. HoosierAloha, ALASKA HOOSIER, Hoosierfan2017 and 3 others 6 Quote

JSHoosier Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Well, they tried to give it away but in the end Minnesota did their part to contribute to the cause of getting Crean the heck out of Bloomington. Hoosierfan2017, recker222000, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 4 Quote
colonel06 Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Interesting I thought anyway that Don Fischer could not get Crean from going in and on about how hard the team is working to get a win on and on hard work, etc, etc. He finally had to interrupt Crean and say thanks coach.:)Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

He wants so badly to lay this on injuries, and keeps hinting at that while saying it's not an excuse. Does anyone think he snaps at some point and just goes off? The dude has to be sitting on an emotional powder keg. Also, Fisch was on with Dakich earlier in the week … and he appeared to agree with DD's take on the situation. I wonder how much of that was genuine and how much was PC playing along. I mean, Fisch has seen it all, as they say, and he has to have a pretty good feel for the situation, doesn't he?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro Hoosierfan2017, ALASKA HOOSIER, colonel06 and 1 other 4 Quote

I wonder if the frequent delays and "stand ups" he's had with Crean post games has been offensive to him? Possibly not, after all he took a lot of abuse from Knight (albeit less than poor Chuck Marlowe, RIP). AZ Hoosier and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
