  6. Hoosiers were down 2-0 when Clemson got a red card in the 64th minute. Roughly 2 min. later. Palmer Ault put us on the board with a PK. Then in the 81st min. Jacopo Fedrizzi tied it up with an assist from Nolan Kinsella. Hoosiers finished with 12 total shots; 4 on goal; 7 corners. Clemson 8 total shots; 6 on goal; 4 corners. Here's the tying goal from Fedrizzi https://x.com/i/status/1958714130723917912

  7. That, and a young guy looking to grow his career in college football LEFT GEORGIA FOR INDIANA. Have officially entered an alternate universe.

  8. He can be so good. I saw that potential immediately. The mentals also hurt him when we were struggling as a team which affected him adversely. Reneau and Mgbako are gonna have really good years this year. And maybe Myles Rice too. Putting a speed guard who isn't a great shooter in a system with 3 bigs was wild. So, my guess is Rice does well this year too.

  9. 2-2 is your Final, 2H adjustments were very good, probably helped since Clemson had to play 10.

  22. He can be a fantastic stretch four on offense with proper spacing and scheme; it will help if he's not relied upon to handle the ball or pass much. And on defense he can easily guard other fours. But they better have some active rebounding from their guards because he is pretty glued to the floor and doesn't have much burst to the ball..

  23. Wasn't this board saying that he would be utilized as a stretch 4 instead of a 3 the last 2 years which is what A&M looks to be using him as? He wasn't used effectively the last 2 years, although he didn't exactly take over games like he probably could've when the team was really needing shots to go in.

  24. This will connect a few controversial/polarizing topics - Mgbako & Woodson. I like to check in on how former IUBB players are doing and thought this was interesting from the 3 Man Weave's evaluation of Texas A&M: I feel like there's at least a few kids who garnered a lot of hate from certain fans last year, and I'm really curious to see how they'll perform under different coaches.

Everybody is different. There is a MFG. warning on the cans that "suggests" only drinking half a can and seeing what it does. For me? 3 cans does me real good!!!!! lol But as I said they affect everybody differently. And I have witnessed this first hand.

  37. Hoosiers to Hit Home Court for Team Scrimmage 8/21/2025 11:00:00 AM | Women's Volleyball BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana's 2025 roster will get its first taste of a competitive match on Saturday (Aug. 23) afternoon at Wilkinson Hall. The Hoosiers will break into two teams for their annual Cream and Crimson Scrimmage. The sides are set to play three sets against each other. Eighth-year head coach Steve Aird has assembled one of the deepest and most talented teams that he's ever had while leading a Big Ten program. Between a returning core of veterans and the program's best recruiting class ever, Aird has a number of options to pick from at each position. IU's fantastic freshman class will get the chance to play in front of the Wilkinson Hall crowd for the first time on Saturday afternoon. Outside hitters Charlotte Vinson and Jaidyn Jager, middle blocker Victoria Gray and defensive specialist Avery Freeman were all top-100 recruits and have been committed to the program since 2023. On top of the intrasquad scrimmage, the Hoosiers will have a DJ on hand to keep the environment lively for all fans in attendance. IU will provide giveaways for students and fans and will have all 17 student-athletes available to sign autographs at the end of the match. The Hoosiers begin the regular campaign on Friday (Aug. 29) in Coral Gables. IU will play a perennial NCAA Tournament team, Miami (Fla.), for the third-consecutive season. The home slate begins on Thursday, September 4th against SEMO. Single game tickets for all three matches of the Indiana Invitational are still available.

  38. On Sunday, we host San Francisco at 7:30 PM. Televised on B1G+. Couple of game recaps below. During the match I saw reports of a couple of Hoosiers going down with injuries/cramps but haven't seen any more details. https://www.assemblycall.com/p/3-takeaways-from-iu-soccers-season?r=2xu6ia&utm_medium=ios&triedRedirect=true https://iuhoosiers.com/news/2025/8/21/mens-soccer-no-11-indiana-erases-two-goal-deficit-in-opening-day-draw

  39. Deion gets a tough rap from fans, but he’s a-okay by me: ————————————- "No slides. If I see you with them - I'm gonna send people to campus - if I see you with slides on campus, it's gonna be a problem," Sanders told his players. "If I see you with a hoodie on in class, or some headphones on in class, it's gonna be a problem. If I see you sitting in the back of the classroom, it's gonna be a problem. Do we understand that?" Sanders is also implementing strict rules for Colorado players enrolled in online courses. "If you're online, and you have online classes, and you don't have a shirt on or you got a wife beater on, or you've got something stupid on that's causing a distraction, or you're walking about during an online session, it's gonna be a problem," Sanders said.

  41. More from Osterman. In FY23, IU logged $1.5 million in football-specific licensing and sponsorship revenue in its annual report to the NCAA. Now, how money is classified on those things can be jinked around. But that's probably the best historical comparison point we have.

First the football coach communications and involved with students/fans and now the basketball coach who comfortably and in his natural way (nothing flashy)….students/fans like this and has been missing and it just grows on most everyone creating a healthy culture. It’s they are present in the same place….. Not a culture of we are over here better than you who are over there.
