Well, there was a lot more to it than just getting 4 years because his predecessor did. There was old school cronyism and nepotism. But yeah, it was certainly way past time.

Per ESPN FPI if IU wins Saturday, playoff chances will near 50% for CFP

All of UCLA and Va Tech's players have a 30 day window to transfer. And with only 3 games played redshirt is still on the table to those that are eligible.  The IU staff has a decent pipeline in Virginia and probably recruited a lot of Va Tech's current roster. Keep an eye on this.

Those VT WRs are serious. One Greene is a grad student, but the younger Greene (don’t believe they’re related) is a junior and we’re about to have a Sarratt and Cooper sized hole to fill.
