I seriously do not understand how he mishandled the entire situation so poorly. Fans, players, and coaches were consistently left without any information; and when decisions were made, there was no logic or reasoning provided. He’s an awful commissioner. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app From a PR standpoint he did a terrible job and I’ve mentioned that here before, but in the grand scheme that doesn’t really matter. The people actually making these decisions went back and forth on what to do for months. That’s not Warren. MemphisHoosier and Stuhoo 2 Quote

Seems kind of crazy to expect one person who has been on the job for less than a year to influence 14 extremely powerful people that have complete control over their universities, and at least one we know for sure that aren’t “sports people”. I’m not a Warren apologist as it may seem, but the presidents should be catching 95% of the flack for the B1G’s mishandling of this situation. Coaches and AD’s were pushing from the beginning for answers and the presidents sat on their own thumbs. Class of '66 Old Fart, JaybobHoosier, Stuhoo and 2 others 5 Quote
MemphisHoosier Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Ohio State opens as 30 point favorites against the Khaki Crew from Ann Arbor = X If that happens, I wonder how Habaugh sticks around for 2021? JaybobHoosier and HoosierAloha 2 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Politics again mixed with sports and the B1G embarrassed themselves. They wanted to be trendsetters and righteous. Glad the SEC had some courage to make thing happen or else football would have been canceled for the year unnecessarily. B1G should have more egg on its face than it does. BGVille Hoosierfan Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 If ND beats Clemson again, Alabama beats Florida in the SEC Title game, and we beat Purdue and either top 15 NW in the B1G title game or top 15 Iowa in our crossover game, you gotta like our chances, no? Or does the committee put in Texas AM who lost by 28 already to Bama or a Cincy team who hasn’t played anyone. AM has one win over top 25 team (Florida by 3 at home), we’d have 2 top 25 wins (road and/or neutral) with a single loss on the road to OSU. AM beat Vandy by 5 this year, just saying. You’d hope we’d get the nod. JaybobHoosier 1 Quote

I might take a win over USC in the Fiesta Bowl over a 30 point loss to the Tide.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Jeff_Boy_Ardee 1 Quote

HoosierDYT Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Man, these CFP rankings annoy me. While I don’t think IU, should be top 6/7, I can’t stand seeing two loss teams in the top 10. What has Georgia done? What has Iowa State really done? What has Miami done? What has Oklahoma done? Oh well. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners JaybobHoosier and thebigweave 2 Quote
Dalton26 Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 The level of disrespect is mind blowing. IU should easily be sitting at #8. At the absolute worst #9. I hope to god IU gets Georgia, Miami, Iowa State or OU in a bowl game and absolutely smacks them. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners JaybobHoosier, KingPG21, mdn82 and 1 other 4 Quote
KingPG21 Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 The disrespect is insane. How tf is Iowa State moved up 2 spots for beating up on a bad West Virginia team at home. But we go on the road with our second string QB, win w/o much question and we don't move. JaybobHoosier 1 Quote

dreachon Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Make no mistake, the committee doesn't actually think IU should be 12th. This latest CFP ranking is a message. The committee is sending a message to the Big Ten. "We're not putting IUFB in the CFP race so y'all better find a way to get OSU in there." Remember, Iowa's AD is head of the committee and the Big Ten AD meeting to decide what to do is tomorrow morning at 8:30am. This was calculated. HoosierAloha and JaybobHoosier 2 Quote
