They play SMU in Happy Valley and would then play Boise State at the Feista Bowl in Phoenix. It would be hard to get an easier (but not easy)route. Yeah, they and Texas have nice routes to the final. Oregon kind of got screwed. They have the hardest path of any of the top 4 seeds. DChoosier 1 Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 The amount out whining coming out of Alabama is ridiculous. Their AD says he is going to 'need to reevaluate their non-conference schedule for the future'. Don't freaking lose to the bottom half of your conference. It's that simple. Oklahoma and Vandy were 5-11 in conference and two of those wins were against Bama. AZ Hoosier and go iu bb 2 Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Kirby Smart said earlier today that Carson Beck had an MRI and they were waiting on results. Said the pain was mostly in his elbow and said that Beck was pretty somber after the MRI. I'm guessing it's not good. Quote

Supposedly CFP controls the prices, I believe the ones we see are from scalpers. But it sounds like there will be no luck for non-season ticket holders as of now. Quote
cthomas Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 I really like our path. If we can't beat the teams in front of us, we don't deserve to be here anyway. I watched all of the games yesterday and I don't really fear any of those teams. Oregon has a very good offense but their defense didn't really stop PSU. Everyone I saw has weaknesses. We might be the most balanced team in the playoffs. RoadRage, J34 and MemphisHoosier 3 Quote
RoadRage Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 We really miss Evans on the OL....Notre Dame has been playing good football, but we are certainly capable of beating them! MemphisHoosier 1 Quote

They didn’t lose a single OOC game so that had no bearing. Their game before the 3-24 atrocity at Oklahoma was friggin Mercer. Is Mercer an example of reevaluating their schedule? What a joke. Dave from Dayton Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 I was thinking of getting two tickets close to the 50-yard line for the IU vs Notre Dame FBS to be held 12/20. Then, being the frugal $$$ thinking person that I am, I thought...what I really want is to have souvenirs of the historic game. So, if anyone wants to get rid of their tickets, or picks some up as the game comes to a close, and is willing to mail them to me...I would gladly pay for the postage if you won't deliver them free. Or I will trade you for the used tickets for this wonderful, useful, item that is not on your bingo card: RoadRage 1 Quote
RoadRage Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 I believe changes will and need to be made to the CFP process. I think the byes should done away with, expand the field to 16, and like they do in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, the first round games should be played on neutral fields on a rotating basis, and yes Lucas Oil should be one of those stadiums! It is kind of set up like the NIT right now....this should also make tickets more affordable and available! Just my two cents.... 8bucks 1 Quote

I have felt that NCAA football should have had a tournament/playoff similar the basketball for years. I think a field of 16 is great. RoadRage 1 Quote

With all due respect, the NCAA can easily do away with on-campus games in the first round if they want to, and there is nothing these elite colleges can do to stop it. They make the rules and if a football program doesn't like the rules they can choose to not participate! Quote
